Pride

Pride destroys the self-confidence of a person, so we should never allow an enemy of pride to flourish in life.

There lived a hunter named Manglu in a village named Habibpur. He was famous in the surrounding area in aiming. Mangalu had a boy. His name was Vipul. He started learning the art of shooting from his father. After learning this art, he also started aiming accurately like his father. Everyone admired his art. He was very proud of his shooting. He began to consider himself a great shooter. He did not like to talk directly to anyone.
One day Vipul was practicing arrow shooting in the courtyard of his house. On the way to the village people stood to watch his shooting. Everyone was surprised to see his perfect shooting. Among the people gathered was the boy of an oil merchant.
He too was carefully watching Vipul's shooting. Every arrow of Vipul was sitting right on the target. Many arrows were hitting the target and reaching the other side.
People were cheering Vipul by clapping loudly. He was not proud to see this, but the oil merchant's boy standing there was not impressed by his feat. Seeing his gesture, Vipul got water-roasted.
"Do you know how to shoot arrows?" Vipul angrily asked the boy of the oil merchant.
"No," said the boy with a smile.
"Then...? You are becoming as if whatever work I have done is of no importance to you."
"Yes, you've got it right," said the merchant's son confidently, "your archery is nothing unusual in my opinion. You've got a good shot at shooting it. It's not a big deal."

Hearing the words of the boy of the prolific oil merchant, he got furious. The oil merchant's boy said in a calm voice, "Brother! There is nothing to be angry about.

Hearing this, Vipul's anger increased even more. The villagers pacified both the boys. Vipul said, "Look, what art do you want to show?"
The boy of the oil merchant took out a small mouth bottle from his bag and placed it on the ground. A copper coin was placed on the mouth of the bottle. There was a round hole in the middle of the coin. Then he picked up a ladle and filled the ladle with oil from the oil box. Now he started pouring oil from the middle of the hole. The bottle was full, but not a single drop of oil fell on the coin.
