The Old Man Wooden Bowl Moral Story 

Once there was an old man. He lived alone as his wife had died. His hands were shaky and his eyesight was blurred. He could not even walk properly. He was lovely and helpless. so he went to live with his son and his family.

As he sat down for lunch at the table with the family, he was unable to eat properly.  His hands and eyesight made it difficult for him to eat properly. The food fell off his spoon onto the floor and the soup spoiled his clothes. He also spilled water on the tablecloth.

 The son and his wife did not like this mess. So they set a small table in the corner. Since he had broken a dish or two, His food was served in a wooden bowl.

There, the old man was made to eat alone. Therefore, meal time were not happy for him.

The four-year old grand watched  everything in silence. One day he was searching for something from a stack of wood and collected some wood scraps from the floor. His father did not know what he was doing. He asked him,"What are you making?"

 The boy replied innocently " Oh,I am making a little bowl for you and Mama. When I grow up, I will serve you food in that bowl."

 His words made the parents speechless. They realised their mistake.

That evening the old man's son went to him. He held his hand gently made him sit at the family table. The son remembered his childhood days.  When he spilled on the table, or when food fell onto the floor, no one scolded him or asked him to sit separately. He looked after his father well from that day on.
