When people work together in harmony everything seems bright and sunny,

When there is team-spirit, trust and faith The result is always great.

We can't do everything all by ourselves. We always need help of others. No one can do much alone. In our day to day life we all have to work in co-operation.

 Haven't you seem co-operation in your family? Your mother is helped by all the family members in her work. Your father, your brothers and you help each other in every small way that you can.

Likewise, in a school, the principal needs the help of teachers and other helpers who help him run the school.

Without the help of a sweeper a school won't simply be neat and clean. A team of other helpers like a peon, a mali and a watchman, also play a significant role in the smooth running of the school. Above all,  It won't be possible to have a good standard of education in the school unless there is a devoted team of teachers to look after the teaching work. Without the help of this team of workers, an institution like a school cannot function at all.

Even in nature, the birds work in co-operation. Have you ever seen a nest being built? You might have noticed the house-sparrow fetching straws in its beak while the male-sparrow takes repeated turns to collect, strings and other materials for building their nest. Thus, the living world goes ahead with team-work only.

In the non-living world even the instruments and tools when used together produce some articles. The hammer, the nail,  the plier, the planer, the saw, all jingle together for the assembly of a bed or a cupboard. Interesting, isn't it?

Likewise, a building is the fruit of labour of so many hands put together. An engineer cannot construct it all by himself. He needs an architect to draw up the plan. The masons, the carpenters and the others like the electrician and the plumber all put in their hard labour to see it completed. It becomes possible only with the co-operation of the team. It is the team-spirit that matters.

In the field of sports, no match can ever be played without team-spirit. The team has to follow the leader and act as one body.  All members of a team work as one and have only one aim and one thought in their minds and that is to see that their team wins.

 One thing is very important for team-work. That is, no single individual takes the credit for himself or herself. Everyone works hard.

when the work of the team is admired, the team as a whole feels proud and satisfied.

Another important thing is that a team-leader should never show his likes or dislikes for anybody. He should not criticise their work. He should encourage every member of his team. If he has trust and faith in his team, he will be able to get their co-operation without any difficulty.

 The team-work will always be a success. A team of good workers can do even the most difficult task easily only if there is proper team-spirit.
