Punctuality Kids Story In English

 Punctuality is a virtue. A lazy person can never be punctual. He can never complete his work in time because he is not punctual.

He always postpones his work for tomorrow.

So we should never postpone any work for tomorrow, everything should be done today. It is said, Tomorrow promises a lot but fulfils very little.

Punctuality can be seen in all the natural phenomena. The Sun always rises in the morning and sets in the evening. The moon and the stars are always seen at night. The night is followed by the day. The seasons also come in order. So we can see that nature also teaches us punctuality indirectly. Now we all are living in an age of science. Many of our needs have increased and to fulfil our needs we have to work hard. All respectful and successful persons were punctual such as Mahatma Gandhi.

Punctuality makes us good achievers. People, who do not make proper use of time and are not punctual, will not achieve their goal even if they live for many years. We all are aware that time waits for no man. Wasting time is a crime. Time never stops. It never reduces its speed. Money once lost can be regained but time can not be regained. It is a valuable thing. To be in time means to be punctual. The word regular also means punctual. Here is an incident of Napoleon Bonaparte's life. He was a great conqueror.

Once while invading Austria he called his General to take the position. But the General felt it was impossible because the Alps range started as an obstacle. The General told his problem to Napoleon. He said,"Sir it is not possible to move because of the Alps range." Napoleon shouted in his thunder voice,"Ask the ALPS to make way for men. If it does not, smash it.''The General and his men got in action to clean the snowy mountain and the soldiers took position at the point where Napoleon had asked them to do. Do you know why this work was possible?

This was possible only because of punctuality. So children, be punctual at every stage of life. All your defeats can be converted into victory. Remember once Aurangzeb said,"Those who ruin time,time ruins them." If you are not punctual, it will surely reflect the weakness in your character. If the habit of punctuality is developed, it will surely give you peace, patience and success.
